Poured from a pint can into a nonic pint glass. Three fingered white head emerges, with decent lacing. The body of the beer is amber in color, semi translucent. An aroma of tangerines, mangoes and a bit of yeast from the red wheat, flaked oats, raw oat, and Golden Promise pale malts used in this brew hits the nose. The first sip has a nice citrusy buzz about the mouth, with a fine hops flavor finish. The brewers used Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe and Amarillo hops thru out the brewing process; a murderer's row that kills it when it comes to that nice middle ground of fruitiness and bitterness. Kudos to Quirk for brewing a very fine NEIIPA!
