Canned 9/22/23. Amarillo hops. ABV 6.3%.
L: Pours a hazy deep yellow with a thick fluffy white head that sticks around the edge of the glass. Thin patchy lacing.
S: Aromas of orange and pink grapefruit.
T: Flavors follow the nose up front, especially orange. Some sharpness in the middle that leads to a dry and slightly bitter finish. The sweet to bitter transition is pleasantly noticeable, perhaps attributable to the fresh hops.
F: Surprisingly prickly mouthfeel is not unwelcomed and could also be a function of the hops.
O: An unexpected find. The fresh hop character makes its appearance after the initial citrus impact, resulting in a nice pivot from juicy to hoppy.

Poured a cloudy yellow body with minimal head and nominal lace. Mild aroma of citric and malts that reminded me of orange candies for some reason. Beer has a medium body, slightly sour and sharp acidic hops like orange that balance a light, citric spring-like hoppiness and malt sweetness as beer finishes slightly dry and sticky.
