A West Coast style IPA with an IBU of 70.
My son-in-law returned from a trip to Michigan, and brought me a 32 oz. growler in a glass jug with screw on lid that he had purchased at the brewery 3 or 4 days previous to my tasting.
Beer poured a surprisingly light golden color. I had very little head or lacing.
Heavenly piney and citrus aroma had my hopes running high. The taste instantly reminded me of Elevated IPA from La Cumbre, which is a personal favorite.
Piney, with a big hop impact. Not as danky as I expected, but in no way disappointing.
There was a farily significant lingering bitterness that left me wanting more.
I am surprised there are no beers listed here from this brewery. My initial exposure was a very fine experience.
This beer was so good it prompted me to do my very first review here at BA.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
