Fluffy three-finger head that fades slowly in a lumpy fashion. Extensive lacing in the form of streaks and large spots. Lightly hazy with a dark amber-orange color.
Lightly toasted white bread aroma initially. Strong metallic presence (iron) to the nose.
Perhaps I'm imagining this, but it seems like the faintest touch of pumpkin is present. Also notable is the higher level of bittering hop than expected. Good body with an elevated carbonation. The beer is subtle, unpredictable, and slightly off, but it works well overall.
