On tap at the 10th San Diego Annual Strong Ale Festival.
Pungent of resiny and citrusy aroma. This beer was super dank, almost like bong resin. A light maltiness peeked through the nose.
The flavor of the beer was primarily that of super resiny and citrusy hops with a nice light caramel maltiness. The beer was well attenuated and wasn't too sweet. Bright and spicy as well.
The mouthfeel was crisp and the carbonation seemed dialed in just right.
I've not been terribly impressed with La Jolla's beers in the past, but this is up there with some of the best double IPAs San Diego has to offer.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
