On-tap at the Beachwood BBQ, in Seal Beach, CA,
A: Pours a medium amber out of the tap, nice white head, good quality-looking beer.
S: Had to take a step back at first from the taster I first had of this, woody, full of cedar, earthy.
T: This beer is very woody, may not be for everyone, but I liked its complexity. As the prevoius reviewer said, it is very ethereal, an ancient taste, the cedar offers a complex, herbal, almost sage-like characteristic to the beer, very inviting and tasty.
M: A bit lighter than I expected, thinner, but still a good heft and body for a pale ale.
D: A very good pale ale with a twist, very glad I tried it, Gabe said it was even more cedary about a week ago, would have liked to try it then, but, oh well, could drink pint after pint of this stuff, very tasty.

Brewed for some type of anniversary for Hamilton's in San Diego however the anniversary eludes me.
Deep copper with ruby hints that stand out and make this beer a different bread. Fluffy yet tight head has great retention.
Etheral woody chracteristics with pine and floral hops on the end. Very herbal and different. An opportunity to stand apart?
Nicley balanced yet hops could be more pronounced. Mouth is smooth and light and the cedar fades things and mends them together to make this easily drinkable. Cedar on the front is long and satisfying throughout. Great beer and a different one at that.
