Pint at La Jolla Brewhouse for five dollars on 10/26/08 with lunch, reviewed from notes
A-Color is a mix between a golden orange and copper, small 1/2 inch foamy white head that went away quickly, not much retention, some lacing
S-Smell has lots of pine hoppiness, earthiness, citrus including oranges lemons, and grapefruit mostly, sweet malt, grassy accents, and light caramel
T-Starts off with some pine, caramel and toastier malts in the middle, grass and more hops in the finish, can taste a bit watered down once it warms and the crispness goes away, would have liked it to be more hoppy but it was not too bad
M-Bitter, slightly sweet, and crisp mouthfeel, medium bodied, carbonation is strong and maybe a bit overdone, taste does not linger very long
D-ABV could not have been too high or it was very well hidden if it was, light on the stomach, smooth and crisp, could have had a few more pints
I was in the mood for something hoppy and this satisfied that, it was not exceptional but decent for what it is, it is brewed with pale malts, caramel malt, and Pacific Northwest hops, seemed to be quite popular among others at the bar, might drink again, worth trying
