A - Yellow dirty orange, with good lacing. One got pored with a larger head, other was slow poured.
S - Citrus hops, grassy, herbal, dank.
T - Hops, bitter citrus/grapefruit/herbal grassy with some malts.
M - Good amount of carbonation and great aftertaste.
D - Drinks great for a DIPA lover, all of what you would expect out of a great brew. I could have easily gone past the two that got bought for me, not on happy hour... but well worth the $5 price tag. Great DIPA I will be back for more!

On-tap at Strong Ale
A: The pour is a clear golden amber color with a nice white head and some mild lacing.
S: A really impressive and fruity nose to this beer. Lots of great citrus aromas of grapefruit and tangerine to go along with sweet pineapple. There's a good piney note to it as well.
T: The flavor doesn't quite live up to the nose, but it's still pretty good. A nice tropical fruit character with some pineapple and mango, along with some grapefruit. A mild caramel malt character, but overall this is on the sweet side for how I like IPAs.
M: The body is medium and so is the carbonation. Perhaps a bit heavy and not quite as dry and bitter as I prefer.
D: My first experience with "the new" La Jolla Brew House and I would say their off to a good start. Not a bad DIPA at all if you get the chance.
