I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a five sample flight. It poured an opaque dark mahogany amber with ecru head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had a baltic porter/russian stout notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to sip with thick semi sweet dry dark chocolate malt base with a dark roast flare highlighted by vanilla and molasses presence. The mouthfeel was fuller in body and had smoove carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
