Introducing the latest release in our beloved Visual Cortex series of juicy Triple IPAs, each of which showcases a unique blend of aromatic and flavorful hops. This iteration features the powerful trio of El Dorado, Strata, & Nelson Sauvin hops.
Visual Cortex is hoppy and juicy without the bitterness and features a soft, medium bodied mouthfeel that makes for a surprisingly easy, full-flavored drinking experience.
We whirlpool hopped this heady brew with El Dorado Salvo™, a special c02 extracted form of El Dorado hops from @hopsteiner. Salvo™ delivers impactful flavor and aroma compounds to the beer with little to no added bitterness, as the alpha-acids have been removed.
During active fermentation, we then dry-hopped this gentle giant two separate times with massive charges of El Dorado, Strata, and Nelson Sauvin hops to fully saturate the liquid with mind bending levels of fruity, aromatic, hop compounds.
We get notes of sweet tropical fruits (passionfruit, mango, lychee, pineapple) juicy watermelon, sticky pine, strawberry jam, Lemonhead candies, and pink grapefruit juice.

$6 / 8 oz. on tap at the brewery on 28 January 2023
Niotes: A cloudy brass/gold body is capped by a short head of white foam. It delivers a very good head retention and lacing, leaving behind solid sheets of thin lace. The aroma is tropically fruity and softly floral. It's surprisingly sweet and malty with a honeyish note, some nuttiness, and toffee. It's fruity with notes of mango, peach, pineapple, and tangerine as well as lightly herbal and floral. The alcohol has a presence but that's to be expected from a beer of 10% ABV. In the mouth it's medium-full in body, gently crisp, and smooth across the tongue. Quite an exceptional beer!
