Purchased a bottle of this beer at the brewery during a recent visit. Poured into a tulip glass. Dark brown color with excellent foamy beige head and nice curtain lacing..
Smell and taste of anise and licorice. Dark chocolate and a sharp bitter finish. Very little booziness from the whiskey barrel. Nice full feel without heaviness. Nice beer.
