Had this beer on tap at the brewery. Poured into a tall pilsner glass. Clear dark brown color with great head and curtain lacing. Smell and taste of toasted pumpernickel bread. Some toffee but mostly bready. Pleasant bitter finish and it is very refreshing for a dark bear. A bit thin but overall a very nice beer.
