Our Hill Country Common, Hilco for short, is a twist on the California Common, a substyle of Amber. A copper-colored hybrid style beer with lager yeast fermented warm like an ale, yielding a subtle fruitiness on top of a malt-forward medium body. Malt flavors of caramel, toffee, and bread crust lead the show, with floral Willamette hops singing backup.
