Brickhouse is the cask version of Red Rock Ale according to my bartender. Poured at room temp (roughly 75 degrees and way too warm for me) a deep ruby red copper color. The body is truly magnificent. I believe that the Triple Rock has discovered the perfect color for this sort of beer. It is both red rock and red brick fitting both of its names to a t. Head is thin and white with good retention. Zero carbonation. A bit sweet and lacking in hops. Great malt presence with some nice red berry flavors and a touch of caramel. A bit more hops and some time conditioning could turn this into one hell of beer as it is I find it just average.

This beer poured a dark reddish-copper. Nice head, no lace. Good retention on the head. The aroma was of light caramel and fruit. Roast malt up front on the taste with a slight hop bite. Almost earthy in the middle. It has a medium mouth feel and a medium drinkability.
