On-tap at the brewery.
A: Served a deep cola brown in a elongated pint glass with a cap of soft light tan foam. A network of sticky lace was left down the glass.
S: Roast-dominate nose with tons of roast, toast, and a hint of cocoa powder and maybe caramel.
T: Rich roasted malt taste with a hint of chocolate. Light notes of toasted bread. Subtle bitterness in the finish that is lightly acrid and lightly hoppy. Faint leafy piney/minty hop presence. Hint of vanilla in the aftertaste.
M: Light clean body with a drying and crisp mouthfeel. Smooth carbonation.
O: Very rich and roasted with tons of flavor and mouthfeel but light body and clean.
