10oz pour into a snifter.
Deep, deep coppery amber. Minimal head and lacing, but a decent crown.
Smell is rye bread, stonefruit, definite boozy note.
Mouthfeel is beautifully smooth, and doesn't coat the palate excessively.
Dark and bready malts, dark fruit notes, maybe a bit of cherry especially. Smooth malt opening, a hop note that comes almost out of nowhere, and then smoothly balanced hops, alcohol, and caramel/roasted malt in the finish.
