Nice dark brown with ruby edges and tan head and moderate lacing.
A little roastiness with some citrusy hops.
Very little flavor to this one. Nothing much up front, almost no perceptible sweetness or mid palate. Finish is astrigent aspirin bitterness with minute amounts of roast.
Smooth, creamy, a bit too watery.
I normally really enjoy cask ale, but this one sucked. Very little porter qualities or any character for that matter. Pass.
