On-tap at Triple Rock
A: The pour is an orange-yellow color with a decent sized white head.
S: A big citrus aroma right off the bat with lots of juicy grapefruit and tangerine. Some notes of sweet fruits, maybe some lemon too. Quite a bit of pine as well. Not really any malt to speak of.
T: The bitterness is pronounced here, and I like it. Lots of bitter grapefruit and lemon rind with plenty of pine in the mix. There's a decent tangerine flavor, but the flavor isn't quite as fruity as the nose lets on. A mild bread flavor comes through.
M: Medium in body with a low to medium carbonation. I would have preferred a bit more effervescence here, but it's fine.
D: The better of the two IPAs I sampled (MiracALE being the other). Pretty easy to drink despite a big bitterness.

Sampled 12/23/2010 at Beachwood BBQ at the Drake's/Triple Rock event.
Pours yellow, clear, white head that laces the glass well but doesnt stick around all that long.
Aroma is a great combination of grapefruit, lemon, and earthy pine notes.
Flavor is much the same as the aroma but it also has a strange burnt flavor in there that immediately screamed cigarette butt. The bitterness is a bit harsh too. I know I know, an IPA is NEVER too bitter but really this could stand to dial the bitterness back a bit. Those complaints are minor.
Body is light and enjoyable.
