On tap at the brewpub in Berkeley. From notes.
A: The server brings it to the table with a small off-white head on a lightly hazy golden body. Some lace.
S: This is quite hoppy on the nose: strong elements of grass, orange peel, and a touch of flowers. I get a light grain note, but nothing too substantial.
T: Orange peel dominates, but the beer has a substantial floral component, as well. The finish pulls out grass that pulls into the aftertaste for a sticky effect. This was more bitter than others at the table cared for, but I enjoyed it. Quite a good balance of hop flavor to bitterness. As noted in the nose, there isn't much in the way of malt flavor or sweetness.
M: Light-bodied, moderate carbonation. Mild bitterness.
O: It's nothing over the top, but it's enjoyable.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy yellow amber with a small white head that has decent lacing and leaves a couple of spots of lacing on the glass. The aroma is citrus hops with a bit of orange peel, lots of floral notes, and a bit of grass and hay. The taste follows the nose pretty closely: light grapefruit some orange, a bit of pineapple, floral hops with some caramel malt to balance it. Clean finish with a decent bitterness. Light bodied. Medium carbonation. Overall, a pretty enjoyable beer. A lot of flavor for the relatively low alcohol content. Probably one of the better Triple Rock Beers I have had.
