Reviewed from notes. On-tap at Blue Palms for Drakes/Triple Rock Tap Takeover.
Pours brownish red with zero carbonation. Slight oak tannin aroma. Flavor is of dark tart cherries. Complex. O.K.

On-tap at Blue Palms for Drakes/Triple Rock Tap Takeover

A: The pour is a somewhat translucent dark red color with almost no head whatsoever.

S: Hints of vinegar, red wine vinegar to be precise, with a heavy dose of charred oak. Notes of sweet malts and a wine-like fruitiness to go with it. Sort of a bland, uninteresting nose.

T: The flavor is a tad more interesting. Heavy on the oak which gives the beer a fairly tannic feel and flavor. Some mild fruit, but a lot of pulp sort of notes to it--I guess that's more of a feeling than a flavor, though. Not terribly tart, though there is some vinegar and red grape.

M: Medium in body with a low to medium carbonation.

O: Sort of blah and bland in all facets.
