On-tap at Beachwood BBQ a month back, on to the beer:
Looks like a pale ale with its paler golden color. Good head retention and lacing complement the body. And the nose is nice, featuring soft aromas of honeydue and vague melons. As a fan of this hop, I like it.
And it gets better. The flavors of canteloupe and melon are beautiful, especially with the drying malt towards the end. While it is on the lighter side, it is flavorful and borderline addicting to drink.
This is just another artifact to why Nelson Sauvin hops are my favorite, and Triple Rock excecuted it profoundly.

On-tap at Beachwood I,
A: Pours a lightly hazy yellow with a medium soapy white head, leaving good lace.
S: Lemon curd, some grassiness and grapefruit.
T: Less tropical that I expected, but that's fine. Great upfront citrusy hop flavour with some pineapple and light passion fruit.
M: Medium-bodied, soft carbonation, crisp and clean for its style.
O: Has the hop power of an IPA, but in a more sessionable beer, really feels about 6%-6.5%, a nice surprise for sure.

A - Pours a slightly hazy golden-orange color with a thin finger of frothy white head atop. The head fades fairly quickly leaving behind some nice lace.
S - Aroma is a mix of citrus and earthy hop with some lemon and a touch of spice. There is just a bit of sweet malt in the background.
T - Starts off with lots of citrus and lemon hop flavor with a bit of bitterness and a touch of sweet malt. Through the middle, some more earthy hops flavors come through with a touch of grassy spicy notes. The finish is a mix of lemon and other citrus flavors with a bit of mango with a bit of bitterness.
M - Medium-light bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a slightly dry finish.
D - Very drinkable. Really showcases the Nelson hop nicely with a super sessionable beer.
