Served on tap at the brew pub. A slightly cloudy orange color, oun finger of head that left some good laces.
Aroma is bright citrus, with some pine/resin the the background. Tropical fruit like some melon is there too.
Flavor is bright, crisp and the grapefruit/orange citrus jumps out. The malt comes through in the middle, a lightly sweet caramel that blends well with the big citrus peel hops. The pine/resin lingers in the finish, just to keep the bitterness going a bit.
I thought this was just delicious, and paired really well with the Ale Dog. An IPA that shows the style can bring some solid refreshment, along with a big hop kick.

A - Pours a slightly hazy golden-orange with a finger of frothy white head. The head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some lacing.
S - Aroma is a mix of grapefruit, citrus, grassy, pine, and spicy hops with some caramel and biscuit malts.
T - Starts off with some grapefruit and tropical hops with some bitterness and some sweet caramel malts. Through the middle, the pine, grassy, and lightly spicy hops come through with some more lightly resiny bitterness and some biscuit malts. The finish is a mix of grapefruit, pine, and grassy hops, bitterness, and sweet, lightly bready malts.
M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a dry, bitter, and lightly sweet finish.
D - Very drinkable. Really great hop profile with a smooth bitterness. Great balance.
