While we call this ale a "specialty IPA", it really doesn't fit into any category, at least until we make it popular enough to warrant its own category. This ale started off life as a New England-style IPA, with an infusion of Savignon Blanc grape juice during fermentation. It uses the yeast from a juicy IPA to get the distinct fruit flavor, but the fermentation from the juice gives it a special white-wine character on the finish. That, coupled with Nelson Sauvin makes a crisp and refreshing ale, perfect for those warm fall days and cool fall nights.
