Copenhagen 24/12 2021. 75 cl bottle from Vin de Table, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh. NV. Elegant, simple drawing of a lounging lady signaling boredom and elegance on the label together with Shenk’s big black “S”.
Comes charging out of the bottle after the cap comes off leaving beer puddles all over the place. Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as a thin rim of foam running along the sides of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet berry-like, fresh, fruity odor mingling with a vinegary sour scent. Blackberry and a whiff of peach. Sour gooseberries, lemon and vinegar. Funky notes. Barnyard and sour cheese.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a medium strong tart sourness. Aftertaste sour with a funky touch. A little bit thin. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Pretty light and well balanced wild beer which have left a very moist impression in my kitchen.
