I visited Kláštorný Pivovar while taking a quick weekend trip up to Bratislava. They are like a few of the places I visited in Bratislava -- they are mostly a restaurant, but they've also been brewing their own beer forever. And when I say their own beer -- I mean they brew ONE beer. Well, two I guess: a light and a dark, but only the light was available on tap when I visited.
The place is all creaky old wood and beautiful ceilings and wainscoting, and the beautiful old copper kettles are visible from part of the restaurant. There's a very "inn in an RPG" feel to this place, which I really liked. I had the traditional dumplings and cabbage soup, which were both excellent. Service was good, if at a European pace, and I'd say the staff were about 50/50 with English (though this was no real impediment).
