22oz bottle purchased at the brewery 2 & 1/2 weeks ago poured into a tulip pint glass at fridge temp 7% ABV per label. The beer pours dark brown with light brown highlights and light brown head. The head recedes to a fluffy, splotchy ring and single layer of bubbles. Lots of lacing. The aroma is faint with vague sweetness and the slightest hint of dark malt. The taste is bittersweet chocolate with a slight tang leading to a moderately bitter finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation and a somewhat dry finish. Overall, good. Nothing special. Judging from the four beers I've had from Myriad, I would only order stouts or porters again.
