APPEARANCE: Deep black, with ruby highlights and a big head of brown-khaki suds. Nice lace.
NOSE: Roasty coffee and chocolate with some brown sugar. Very nice.
TASTE: Cocoa roasty, smooth as silk and a delicious, well-executed milk stout. Points.

16oz can from the brewery. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left sticky rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of sugary sweetness, chocolate, toffee and cream. Sweet chocolate taste with creaminess, brown sugar and toffee.
