Chill fogged pale gold with a densely lumpy white head.
The medium body has a solid, satisfying mouthfeel with a fine but firm carbonation that brings a little toasted cracker with a hint of blonde caramel before perhaps a touch of ricey film and a faint touch of floral balance in the semi-dry and tingly finish.

Had FG's Pilsner at the Fertile Ground taproom on side-pull draft into seidel. (It wasn't slow-pour because, bartender said, "we don't do slow pours into the mugs," but only into willi bechers.)
Pours light but bright yellow with clarity and 2 & 1/2-finger creamy near-white head, with good retention, leaving chunks of splotchy lace down the glass. A bit of grassy aroma off the pour, then a muted but lasting amalgamation of Noble hop spices, over mild pilsner malt. Sweet mild pilsner malt to start, especially from the big creamy head, then some mild Noble hop spice, a hint of citrus, and a crisp, slightly-bitter bite to the finish.
On-style German pilsner, the perfect crisp antidote for our infamously humid Mississippi summers.
