Had Imperial Space at the Fertile Ground taproom on draft into Willi Becher.
Pours oddly cloudy, medium gold with near 1-finger, near-white head, with excellent retention, leaving thick rings of lace down the glass. Aromas of sweet orange and hop spice off pour, then some pineapple aroma, joined by pear and peach aromas as warms. On tasting, begins sweet orange, and sweeter pineapple and pear, which carry into and through some mildly tart peach, then a little hop spice joins, before an herbal, mildly bitter, drying finish.
A lot of mostly sweet fruit, but nicely balanced by a neutral bitterness, for a surprisingly easy-drinking, poorly-filtered (?), 9.40 DIPA.
