Had Droid Forest at the Fertile Ground taproom on draft into Willi Becher.
Pours grapefruit-juice hazy gold, with 1-finger near-white head, with good retention, leaving a little lace down the glass. Aromas of mild sweet lime, big pineapple and a little tart peach off pour, with the peach continuing and growing, then some berries and a little hop spice aroma, with tropical fruit aromas and a hint of mild malt aroma emerging as warms. On tasting, begins smooth, creamy melon, with a little lime and sweet pineapple, then tangy stone fruit, over a substantial but mild malt body, and carrying into a crisp, biting, citrus peel, slightly resinous but still sweet, fresh tropical fruit finish.
With Imperial Space and now Droid Forest, FG is on a roll brewing IPAs I want to drink.
