Had My Way or the IPA at the Fertile Ground taproom on draft into Willi Becher.
Pours straw-gold with clarity and 1-finger, dense near-white head, with decent retention, leaving Belgian lace etched down the glass. Dank herbals and mild, sweet stone fruit (pear) aroma off pour, then a little mild malt, and some funky corn aroma, which does drop for aromas of a little continuing stone fruit and some back-end pineapple. On tasting, begins with a little peach and mild pear, moderately carbonated, then some pine bite, over a smooth body, before a crisp, still fruity, slightly resinous (dry-hopped) finish.
This IPA would have been interesting at a little bigger ABV, and without the corn aroma from an apparent brewing error, but is more than drinkable this batch.
