16oz can sent my way by @jzeilinger; first experience with Hog Molly
Poured a Fat Head's nonic pint glass
P brilliant deep orange/caramel; 1f foamy white head; med-heavy lace
N soft-med nose of zesty spruce/pine; a touch of malt in there as well
T lots of bitey pine and citrus over caramel malt; a good amout of resiny bitterness in the finish; old school for sure; diggable
Mf med-bodied w/ med carb; coating finish
O a solid, no nonsense ipa; happy to have tried it- thanks, J!

On top at the source.
A - Nice dark medium gold with light carbonation and a dense, thin layer of creamy lacing on top.
S - Citrus and pine with just a tad bit of malt on the nose.
T - Nice resiny pine with some citrus from start to finish. Light caramel malt base pokes through a little bit but citrus and pine resin steal the show. Big bitter, lingering finish.
M - Medium body with soft carbonation.
O - This is an under the radar IPA, dank and herbally.

Taster at brewery. Copper colored pour, small wispy head. Light hoppy aroma, woody. Taste recalls a classic NW IPA with a solid backbone and bittering hops at the finish.
