Stahoo's Brewery and Taproom

Standalone building with a small parking lot and street parking. View of brewing equipment in the back. Short bar, and other seating at low tables. Porch patio in the front and a larger patio space in the back. About ten taps with a rotating mix of styles. Canned product is available at local stores and at the taproom. Small space with a low ceiling, brick walls, and a concrete floor. Friendly and informative staff. Good spot to talk about beer and family connections.

This is a small brewery with amazing people. The atmosphere is calm and friendly with multiple different places to sit. The building is small and easy to miss but very neat and clean. They have a great selection to fit everyone’s tastes personally I suggest the Rose’s Honey Rye. Defiantly a must stop if you’re headed through or even live around the area best brewery in town.

 

man the casper beer scene is going insane, tons of little breweries and a lot of quality liquid flowing, i was super impressed this place is a great nee addition, a small standalone building that looks kind of like an old house, not sure what was in here before the brewery, but its a modest space, super minimal on the decor too, perfect for a little startup. the have windows across the front so lots of natural light, a small bar with maybe a half dozen seats, the beer menu on a screen behind it, scattered low table seating, a pop corn machine along the wall, and a roped off brewery section in the back you can walk around the cooler and check out. looks like a pretty thoughtfully engineered space, with some water treatment capability, some modified old tanks, and not a ton of production capacity which will keep the beer fresh and hopefully always rotating as they grow. it looks like there is some back yard space too, still in development, but could be an awesome patio area that might more than double their seating. i was truly stoked on some of the beers here, a super small selection, but diverse enough, a traditional grodziskie both shocked and wowed me, so good, best beer in here by far, but a unique blonde and a drinkable ipa were also solid, well above average for the early going. i liked the attention to detail and subtle uniqueness of the beers, all real intentional. the owner and brewer was nice enough to chat with me for awhile, and he is rightly proud of the work they have done on this place to get the doors open, i expect big things from them beer wise moving forward, they are off to a great start! definitely a spot to visit when cruising through casper!
