Tombstone has done well to carve out a nice little spot for themselves out of a what I think used to be an out pizza parlor in a strip mall. Dark and with a huge bar running the main room, it is inviting for all beer drinkers to saddle up for a drink. Food smelled good but didn't try it, beer options on tap were various though not a huge list. Service was very attentive and friendly, happy to talk about beer, the city or whatever with us. All around an under the radar stop in the PHX area

Large store front brewpub in a shopping plaza a bit north of the airport. Sort of L-shaped bar opposite the entrance seats about 15 with tables about the floor and in additional room on the right. 16 beers on tap. I did not try their food.

I visited Tombstone's new Phoenix location while in town last week for dinner and a couple beers. When I was there, they had 18 beers on tap; there were a lot of high ABV beers present, but generally a good selection of styles, including a 3.8% dark mild. My overall impression of the beers was very good -- the mild and kölsch (served in a proper 200mL glass) were quite tasty, and I sampled a couple of the IPAs which were very good as well.

The vibe is sort of industrial with lots of concrete and wood and a few TVs showing sports. The brewhouse is in full view of the taproom, which of course I always love. This facility used to be a different brewery, and is acting as Tombstone's expansion.

Service out at the tables is quick and friendly. I had nachos and my wife had the brewery burger; both were very good indeed.
