A full bodied, full-flavoured robust unique rich dark ale. Clean and smooth with a rich dark roast finish.

Sampled with Sam at the Huether. Brown, clear appearance low heading, soft carbonation.
Aromas of caramel and mustryness like wet burlap.
Thin mouth feel, modest malt spine, liquid character
Bit of caramel and sweetness up front then some stale hop tastes kick in....fast crisp finishg without after taste.
Gotta say this one has malt extract brewing written all over it.

At the brewpub, chocolate brown with malt extract. Malt aroma. Actually drinkable though on the sweet side. A step up from root beer, though less carbonated and more synthetic. A drop of roast and chocolate. Second best brew in their lineup. Light mouthfeel.

Clear mahogany colour served with a short, off-white head. Malty aroma with some roastiness and chocolate character. Low bitterness with nuts and chocolate throughout. Malt lingers for quite some time in the finish. Medium bodied. Fairly tasty and a decent session. My current favourite at the Huether.
