Tap pour at the taproom. Served chilled in a nonic glass.
Clear, pale gold colored body. Thin white head that maintains. Leaves behind short lacing strings.
Aroma of citrus and tropical fruits, with a toasted malt base.
Taste has a good balance of sweetness and bitterness, mainly from a fruit source. Flavors of grapefruit, pineapple, mango, and pine. Solid malt base. Aftertaste is long lived and continues the bitterness with an accompanying fruit sweetness.
Medium mouthfeel. Slight syrup. Some tongue numbness after a few sips. Very good carbonation.
Fits for the West Coast IPA style, with the requisite level of piney bitterness.
