Poured from a brewery tap-filled can into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a slightly hazy, medium golden amber with a one finger white head with great retention and nice lacing. Aroma of pale malt, dank and citrus hops, grapefruit, lime, catty dankness and green melon. Flavor is lightly caramel malt, citrus and piney hops, grapefruit, lemon, pine and a hint of dankness. Medium bodied with moderate creaminess, nice mouth feel. A spot-on West Coast style IPA with fine citrus and pine notes. Good lingering citrus rind and pine in the finish and solid bitterness. In this day of ever changing flavors in IPAs, it's great to find a solid classic one. Malt density gives a good feel that enhances drinking pleasure. Nicely done.

Poured from a 16 ounce can filled at the brewery on 8-12-23 into a tulip glass.
Look- Deep gold, very hazy, frothy white head, above average head retention and lacing.
Smell- Pine resin, grapefruit, herbaceous, medium strength of scent.
Taste- Pine resin, grapefruit, pineapple, herbaceous, slightly below medium strength of flavor.
Feel- Between medium and full body, slightly below average carbonation, high bitterness, moderately creamy, moderately mouth watering finish.
Overall- This was a very nice unfiltered West Coast IPA that provided an enjoyable drinking experience. Appearance was very nice with deep gold color, plenty of haze and above average head retention and lacing. Bouquet was medium in strength with a nice mix of pine resin and grapefruit. Flavor was nice, but could have been a little more vibrant. Feel was fuller than expected, but that surprise was not a detractor. It was moderately creamy with high bitterness, that is expected of the style.
