Poured from a 16 ounce can filled at the brewery on 8-12-23 into a tulip glass.
Look- Pale gold, moderately hazy, frothy white head, above average head retention and lacing.
Smell- Clementine, grapefruit, pithy, strawberry, medium strength of scent.
Taste- Pithy, grapefruit, clementine, strawberry, moderately astringent, medium strength of flavor.
Feel- Medium body, average carbonation, moderately creamy, moderately astringent, low bitterness.
Overall- Pale gold and moderately hazy with above average head retention and lacing. Bouquet was a nice mix of clementine, grapefruit, pith and strawberry. Flavor followed the nose, but had too much astringency for my liking. Feel was medium body with moderate creaminess and astringency. Overall this beer provided an enjoyable experience, but it did have some more pronounced astringency then other NEIPA’s I’ve had from this brewery, which ultimately detracted from the experience.
