Pours a clear golden yellow with abundant foam in the Faust stein. Pleasant aroma of straw and flowery hops, plus fresh cut alfalfa. Clean taste of light malt with a slight sweetness to start. Quite crisp and less of the "Oktoberfest" malty mellowness. A modest bitter note in the aftertaste with a hint of resins. Very clean aroma as you sip. One of the lighter but highly quaffable Festbiers I've tried this year. From the 32 oz crowler can purchased at the brewpub.
