Poured into a dimple mug: color is amber, transparent, head is off white and presents 1/4 inch thick, head dissipates to ring along the glass sides.
Smell is caramunich, toast, light grapenuts, bread, some light earthiness.
Taste is similar with a strong caramel malt flavor, then some toast, light grapenuts, bread, clean hops with a light earthiness.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate bitterness, moderate sweetness.
Overall a malt forward, by Oktoberfest/Marzen standards, take on the style but not overly sweet with moderate bitterness to balance.
