Sweet tropical hoppy, hint of white wine grape, faint hint of floral honey, lemony-orange citrus, and a hint of Nelson-dank nose on this one!
Taste follows with a juicy-soft, sweet honey, slightly boozy, and a grapefruit citrus bitter finish...a little DDH hop burn creeps out as it warms as well.
At 9.3% ABV, you can "feel the heat" so to speak and it drinks like a lighter-bodied triple instead of a double IMO. Outside of that, this is pretty well-balanced between the great hop profile and the honey here...and it is definitely good stuff! I just wish the Nelson hops were dialed up a bit more on the palate to give it that hoppy-dank kick on the backend.
