Dark lager brewed with German floor-malted pilsner malt, caramunich, and carafa malts for a toasty beer with a snap. We triple decocted this lager for a medium body to bring out the dark fruit and grain character to back up the roast. Then hopped with German Saphir and a small dose of Idaho 7 for our twist, lending some spice and herbal quality to make this cold weather crusher completely balanced. Prost!

This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like lots of milk chocolate, with some roast and light herbal notes.
It’s pretty tasty, but just a little bit more chocolatey and sweet than I’d ultimately prefer the style. It’s quite smooth and creamy tasting, nonetheless, and I enjoy it.
This is really drinkable – I could have a good amount of these.
Grow definitely does IPAs the best of all the styles they’ve tried out since opening. This is still good, but I want a bit more bite ultimately.
