A hazy Imperial India Pale Ale brewed with flaked oats, hard red winter wheat malt, unmalted wheat, and honey malt for an extra layer of sweetness and beautiful orange glow. Hopped lightly in the kettle with a small amount of Simcoe for a back bone of grapefruit, apricot, and an underlying clean bitterness. Then hit with an other-worldly amount of Galaxy, Enigma, Azacca, and even more Simcoe in our double dry hop to amp up the stone fruit, as well as introduce peach, lime, and light notes of Pinot Gris with an intense “diesel” background . Be careful, this behemoth bites.

This one pours a fairly hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like peach, lime, cheap white wine, and ditch weed.
This has some good aspects, but that earthy, weedy bitterness along with the grape-like flavor kind of clashes for me. There’s some great peach, lemon, and lime flavors up front, but it finishes a little too dirty for me.
This is lighter bodied, clean, and not boozy for the strength.
I’ve liked most of the other IPAs from Grow better than this one.
