German-inspired Red Lager brewed with floor-malted dark malt and a small handful of German specialty malts for a deep garnet color but a light and snappy body. Underlying dark fruit, nuttiness, and light chocolate are accentuated by a crisp classic hop bitterness and modern aroma for an extra easy drinking late-year beer.

Pours a dark mahogany with a thin coffee colored head.
spicy herb hops, dark bread, molasses and toffee in the nose.
Herbal hops up front with a touch of dankness, spicy herb, with a touch of toffee and molasses, but a more dominate roasted dark bread note.

Can purchased and drank at Fattey Beer Company in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells nicely nutty, almost rye-like with some spicy malty notes, chocolate, and some raisin.
I’ve had maybe like 2 rotbiers in time on this Earth, so I’m clearly a big expert on them. This is really well done, it seems to me, as there’s a wonderfully toasty and nutty malt character to this, a touch of spicy bitterness, maybe it’s from the hops, but it almost feels rye-like. There’s some caramel too, and a touch of raisin like flavor.
This is creamy, but crisp and finishes smooth, and is super drinkable.
This is quite tasty – I hope I see this style more often.
