Can purchased from Fattey Beer Company in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a dark golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like melon, peach, marijuana, and resinous pine.
Grow is quite good at NE-style IPAs, but the occasional West Coast IPA slips out accidentally and is also real good. This has a nice dryness to it, with a piney, earthy and resinous bitterness, with melon rind, grapefruit rind, peachy juiciness, and some orange. It’s pretty much exactly how I want a West Coaster to be.
This is lighter bodied, very crisp and clean, and very drinkable.
I hope Grow doesn’t forget about how good at making West Coast IPAs they are – I want more!
