This one pours a dark-ish golden brown, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like caramel, toffee, chocolate, oak, and a light bit of fruitiness.
The peach brandy is not incredibly strong here, but it’s there a little bit. It becomes a bit more prominent as the beer warms a bit. The base itself is extremely good though, and I enjoy the oakiness that the barrel brings on. It’s super caramelly and sticky, slightly chocolatey, and just deeply malty in a really pleasant way.
This is creamy, and not all that boozy for the ABV – it’s super smooth.
I like the cherry brandy take on this more, and the bourbon barrel version more than either brandy version, but this is still extremely nice.
