We brewed this one with one of the dankest hop combinations we could come up with. Hand-selected Mosaic, Krush, Cryo Ekuanot, and Rakau tear through the roast with a tropical fruit cup, raspberry, and cannabis profile while the darkness comes back around in the finish, ending with subtle cocoa and cola notes.

A very good beer. Despite the label, Black IPA , I purchased it thinking black lager. Resiny aroma and taste. Black body , pours tan head, dissipates to a thin head. Thin head around the glass with great rings on the glass. IPA taste but not sharp or biting. Will buy again. Real plus, brewery is local and not far away for a visit.

Can purchased at Fattey Beer Company in Rochester, NY.
This pours a very dark brown, nearly black, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like marijuana, roasted malt, dark fruit, and orange peel.
I’m always 100% on board with a black IPA these days, as we just don’t see them very often. This has a nice dank and resinous bitterness to it, a lot of roasted malt, a touch of dark fruit and a nice bitter chocolate note, and a really creamy overall flavor it.
This has a nice lingering bitterness, with a great drinkability to it.
This really hit the spot for me.
