A smooth Dark Cream Ale with soft toasted malt, light caramel sweetness, and a clean, crisp finish. Low roast, high drinkability. Just enough bite to live up to the name

Clear reddish-copper, with 2 fingers of light tan head, that leaves a 1/8"ring, and 1/2 " of lacing.
Smell is slight caramel and toffee, plus some fresh biscuity malt. A little hop spiciness becomes apparent after the head fades.
Taste is light toffee and caramel, followed by some sort of rye/sourdough/ dried cherry[the sourness, not exactly cherry flavor] tang. Light bitterness and spiciness on the finish.
Feel is light, initially slightly slick, finishing with very fine sharp, slightly abrasive carbonation finish. Quite dry on the finish and aftertaste.
The can says "Dark Cream Ale". The brewery's Instagram post says "Cream Ale// Kentucky Common". I can see both. Doesn't have the "dry-bread-crust" base flavor of the former, but is dry on the finish. More bite and dryness than the latter. The sourdough/rye tang adds a pleasant and more interesting aspect. I like it, and am glad I got it. :)
