330 ml stubby bottle, from Voldby Kødmandsgård. ABV is 11.5%. Dark brown colour, large to moderate tan head. Pleasant aroma of brown malts, brown kandij sugar, molasses and caramel, dark dried fruits, a hint of oak. The flavour is sweet and sugary (maybe too much), with the same notes as in the aroma. Minimal hops. Smooth to drink, the alcohol is well hidden.

Poured from a 33 cl bottl into a snifter glass.
Look is a very dark brown with amber highlights and little to no head.
Aroma is dark fruits, raisins, cherries, prunes.
Taste is thin and dry with that fruity yeastiness coming through.

Hazy chestnut with beige finger of foam.
Prunes, brandy butter, and cinnamon nose.
Buttered brown bread, golden raisins, touch of anise, apple butter, and maybe a bit of hop spice.
Ginger and light toffee end and honey cake linger.
Medium, well chewy, creamy.
Super smooth - 7 months has knocked off any sharp edges. Flavors are lighter for the style - more bread and butter pudding than Christmas cake. Not too heavy, not overly sweet - a less deep but very drinkable quad.

Brought back from Amsterdam so I could share with rudzud.
Light creamy head, decent lacing, murky mahogany reddish brown color, yeast chunks at the bottom.
Nose sweet candy, brown and reddish malts almost Belgian like, light candi sugar and sweetness bring light phenols and booze aromas, phenolics get dominant but not too strong and a bit herbal.
Taste is fairly Belgian like, big sweet malts lead to more phenols and warming booze, little syrupy but not a lot. It also brings light metallic flavor but not a lot. Light fruits too, fig and apricot like, and obviously the candy sugar and sweet molasses flavors. There is also some bitterness from slightly herbal earthy hops. Chewy nougat as well, slightly caramel candy too. Finish is drier but sticky, lingering candy flavors and light warming booze, faint phenols, and earthy bitter hops bring a bit more bitterness.
Mouth is med to fuller bodied, nice fluffy carb, light warming booze but hides it fairly well for 11.5%.
Overall quite nice, well done version of a Quad, def one of their better beers.
