Pours a light fizzy smaller sized head that fades semi quickly, darker colored cola brown color with some light coming through, looks a lot like Coke.

Nose is like a milk stout, some lactose, powdered milk, a light nutty caramel malt aroma, hint of milk chocolate and powdered cocoa, faint roast and coffee like, touch of brown sugar and raisin.

Taste brings plenty of brown malts, little toasty, molasses, burnt brown sugar, little nutty too, some biscuit and toffee, faint roast and coffee again, as well as caramel malts and a bit of an earthy root like malt flavor. THere are faint herbal hops as well with a mild bitterness, and some light acrid roast. It has a slight burnt creme brulee flavor, with some sweetness but not a lot, no chocolate this time, and very little actual lactose or milk characters surprisingly, but a slight powdered milk and slight creamy taste. Finish brings more herbal earthy hops, fair bitterness by now with more from the roast as well, little acrid, sticky mouth feel on the finish as well, with more lingering sweet malt characters.

Mouth is med bodied, too much carbonation somehow, and just a touch of creaminess.

Overall meh, it started ok but doesn't seem to have the right malt profile, and comes too sweet but bitter and burnt, a weird combinatin of overall flavors, not as pleasant as the other De Prael beers.

Had on tap at In De Wildeman in Amsterdam. This beer is a limited-release beer brewed to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the bar.

Pours an inky black with a thick head. The blackness almost swallows you.

The nose is, simply put, bizarre with aromas of stinky cheese, hemp, and blackberry. I have never smelled another beer like this.

The mouth is wildly different than the nose: smokey with coffee undertones, there are also hints of cherry.

This is a tremendously well made beer whose characteristics are intriguing and praiseworthy. However, these traits are, for my own personal tastes, interesting enough to enjoy once, but not necessarily ever again.
